Huggui — Privacy Policy

Who is responsible for your data

Feynful LLC provides Huggui and is responsible for the data processing described in this policy. We collect information needed to provide, protect, and improve the service. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

What information we collect

The information we process depends on the features you use:

Account data — email address, account identifiers, and access or subscription status.
Business records — income, expenses, hours, people, channels, categories, notes, and items you choose to record.
Receipt photos — when you attach them to a transaction or use assisted receipt reading.
Technical information — data needed for synchronization, security, diagnostics, and support.
Website data — basic visit and interaction information collected through Google Analytics on pages where it is enabled.

Huggui does not request access to your contacts or location to provide its core features.

How we use your information

We use information, as applicable, to:

Create and protect your account
Store, sync, and display your records, dashboards, and reports
Apply the correct Huggui and Huggui+ access
Process AI features you choose to use
Answer support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain service security and stability
Understand use of the public website when Google Analytics is enabled

Current app release configurations do not enable Huggui’s optional usage analytics. If this changes, we will update this policy and the corresponding controls.

We process information to provide the service you request, meet legal obligations, and protect legitimate interests such as Huggui’s security and stability. When an optional feature requires it, we also rely on your choice to use that feature.

Storage, connectivity, and synchronization

Huggui is an offline-first application. Your records may be stored on your device and, on supported native platforms, Huggui uses encrypted local storage. When a connection is available, changes may sync with the cloud infrastructure associated with your account.

Initial account setup and synchronization require internet access. Receipt photos may remain on your device; cloud receipt backup is available only to Huggui+ users who enable that feature.

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual records or delete your account from Settings inside the app.

When you delete your account, its data is removed from active systems. Some copies may remain temporarily in backups until they are overwritten. We may also retain limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or a legal obligation.

Account deletion is final, and the records cannot be restored through Huggui.

Third-party services

We use providers that process information on our behalf to operate Huggui:

Supabase — authentication, database, synchronization, and cloud storage.
Anthropic, Inc. — weekly AI analysis for Huggui+ users. When you open an analysis, the records needed to produce it are sent to Anthropic. Anthropic states that commercial product data is not used to train its models unless a customer participates or expressly opts in, and that API inputs and outputs are normally deleted within 30 days, subject to safety and legal exceptions. Apple and Google — app distribution, purchase management, and subscription status.
Google Analytics — measurement of public website use on pages where it is enabled. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Voice entry and receipt reading require a connection to process the content you submit. Huggui uses that content to prepare a record for you to review before saving.

Some providers may process information outside Paraguay. We apply the safeguards required by applicable law to those transfers.

Huggui+ and subscriptions

If you use Huggui+, we store the access status needed to determine whether your trial or subscription is active. If your account is eligible, the free month begins when you open your first Huggui+ analysis.

Apple App Store or Google Play handles billing, depending on where you make the purchase. Huggui does not receive or store your full card number.

Children and teenagers

You must be at least 16 years old to use Huggui. The service is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe someone under 16 created an account, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, updating, deletion, objection, or portability of your data. To exercise a right, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. Requests are free, and we will respond within the applicable legal period.

You may also submit a complaint to the competent data protection authority.

Applicable framework in Paraguay

For users in Paraguay, applicable data protection rules include, as relevant, Law No. 7593/2025, Law No. 1682/2001, and their amendments.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to Huggui, our providers, or applicable law. We will publish the revised version and change the date below. If a change is significant, we will provide a prominent notice.
